I'm Cloud Strife, Soldier First Class. Or...that's what I used to think. But I'm not First Class. I'm not even Soldier. And Zack...he's not Soldier anymore either. I made him a promise. I remember that now. I told him I'd live for him. For him, I would live. His dreams and his pride...
But I won't be able to now. This place...I don't know what it is, but it's not Gaia. It's not Midgar. It looks like Midgar. Almost. But there's something wrong. It feels like Nibelheim all over again. Surreal. A nightmare.
I just want it to end.
